Celebrating World Photography Day – it is a perfect time to showcase the stunning natural beauty surrounding Cairngorm Lodges in Royal Deeside. Our guests can immerse themselves in our forest setting or enjoy the areas breathtaking and panoramic landscapes, from the rugged Cairngorm mountains to the the tranquility of the areas lochs. Favourites with our guests are Loch Muick and the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve – Loch Kinord and Loch Davan to the historical attractions such as Craigievar Castle and the exciting outdoor experiences on offer at the likes of Tarland Trails for our thrill seeking Mountain Biking guests. So from the 19th August 2024 we will be posting guest & visitor entries* that are shared with us that are taken at Cairngorm Lodges. Guests are invited to enter their photographs that capture the essence of their forest retreat through their camera lenses, from dramatic forest sunrise and sunset shots to intimate wildlife encounters. 
Rules of Our “A Day At Cairngorm Lodges ” Photography Competition
*Eligibility:
- Photographs must be owned by the entrant and in submitting their Photograph they are understood to be making this declaration along with allowing Cairngorm Lodges full permission to use this entry at no charge for the chance to win a £50 gift voucher for use at Cairngorm Lodges or Cairngorm Bothies.
- Competition is open to all Cairngorm Lodges visitors of all ages who are interested in capturing & sharing (or already have a photograph from their stay or forest visit to Cairngorm Lodges ) These photographs must be posted in the following Facebook Event feed as a comment along with the #ADayAtCairngormLodges”
- One entry per person.
- Subject : The photography should capture the essence of staying a day at Cairngorm Lodges.
- Location Verification: To qualify, the photography must be taken within the Cairngorm Lodges area, feature one of our 5 lodges or guests/ pets sharing their memorable time. Photographs with notable Cairngorm Lodges landmark(s) or dates of a guests stay will be used as details to verify the authenticity of entries.
- No Manipulation: Entries should not be heavily edited or manipulated. Minor adjustments for brightness, contrast, and cropping are acceptable, but major alterations that compromise the integrity of the content are not allowed.
- Squirrel Welfare: Please do not stress and do not disturb the squirrels during the photography process. Always remember to maintain a safe distance and avoid any actions that might cause stress to the animals.
- Post/entry Deadline: Midnight 30th of September 2024 on our Cairngorms Lodges Facebook events page “Cairngorm Lodges “In a Day” Photo Competition”
Terms and Conditions Of “A Day At Cairngorm Lodges ” Photography Competition
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram
- There will be 1 winner, who will be announced on Cairngorm Lodges Facebook page Friday 4th October 2024.
- NB Photography is the accepted media.
- The Winner will be chosen in collaboration with our Cairngorm Lodges Facebook entry comments and their received “likes” along with the Cairngorm Lodges team and their decision is final. The winners will each receive a £50 Gift Voucher that can be used against any Cairngorm Lodge of Cairngorm Bothy Holiday. No cash alternative is offered.
- We will share our validated entries from the 4th of October on our Instagram and Facebook page.
- Employees of Cairngorm Lodges and Cairngorm Bothies are excluded.
